Part-Time Communications Coordinator
Slow Down Co. is looking for a thoughtful Communications Coordinator to join our boutique agency on a part-time basis. Gain marketing, public relations, project management and event production experience, working alongside some of Chicago’s best food and beverage brands and creative minds. This role is remote and flexible at approximately 10 hours per week with weekly co-working sessions (dependent on availability).
Clear and smart communication is key. Candidates should have stellar organization skills, strong writing abilities and willingness to jump in and get a little weird. Attention to detail and ability to hit deadlines are necessary.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Write and edit materials (e.g. press releases, marketing collateral, proposals, etc.)
Support in event coordination including event logistics, guest list curation, RSVP management, staffing and post-event reports
Research and compile notes on an array of subjects
Organize and schedule meetings and calls, sending calendar invites and confirmations as needed
Manage and promote positive and efficient relations with vendors, clients and partners, ensuring deliverables are clear and timelines are met
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Track and disseminate press placements
Perform other related duties as assigned
